We are now delivering our products in plastic-free packaging! In June 2021, we began using die cut packaging that we had developed ourselves to dispatch our UV-C lamps safely and inexpensively to their destination. By switching to die cut packaging and recycling cardboard packaging, we have succeeded in cutting the use of plastic for packing our goods by 99%.
We have also entered into partnerships with local companies who supply us with cardboard packaging. This covers our entire cardboard packaging needs. Short distances and shared stockyards enable us to keep CO2 emissions from transport to a minimum and obtain the packaging material we need on time.
Switching to plastic-free packaging is just one of many measures we’ve already put in place on our path towards becoming carbon neutral.
